Laying Low

So, Novell laid off about 800 employees yesterday, most of them in Provo. All of my department (Internal Audit) was laid off yesterday. It was a sad day, the company had boxes for people to pack up and that was that. However, they still haven't given me or the other intern word that we're terminated, and so we've flown under the radar. I talked to the Finance Admin, and she told me to just keep working, and hang around until HR tells me to stay or go. So right now I'm in my office, with no one to report to, just hanging around. I'll likely get the ax soon enough I'm sure, but I'm certainly not going to fire myself!
